Even our most read Optical Magazine the ‘Optician’ is suggesting that more people will want a reglaze when the credit crunch takes hold. Why wait until then, just have it done now! Have a read of the extract below.

There are many things that you can do to improve the health of your eyes. Some are proven some not. This week we are focussing on diet and supplements. We all need our essential vitamins but there are some that are more important for the health and functioning of the eyes. These vitamins can be taken as supplements like ‘I.Caps’ or alternatively can be found in some foods. I have given links here to read and follow for both.

There are lots of TV ads’ at the moment  about Transition lenses, the ones that change according to the ambient light, they go darker when its sunny and then go clear when its dark, great as an all purpose pair of glasses. They are plastic lenses, not glass as they used to be, so they are stronger and lighter and work really well. We can do reactions in almost any type of lens, single vision, bifocal, varifocal, high index etc and with all the usual coatings. Have a look at our prices   http://www.ciliaryblue.com/pricelist.html and have a reglaze before the summer starts.

We are still trying to get the message across, that a reglaze is still the best, the cheapest and the easiest way to update your glasses with your new prescription. Follow the link below http://www.pressbox.co.uk/detailed/Health/Ciliaryblue._Why_reglaze_at_all__181664.html

We have been reglazing glasses with single vison lenses for some time now, but we are happy to do varifocal and bifocal lenses if the customer wants. Have a look at the link for more information, http://www.pressbox.co.uk/detailed/Health/_New_See_the_saving_Varifocal_and_

DJ Chris Moyles on YouTube having his eyes tested by the Outside Clinic, more commonly used for Domicilary visits, he’s not old enough for that yet is he! Thought we put that in so you can see what happened. Then, if he’d needed his glasses reglazing we could have done them for him? Maybe! Click on the link

It seems we have ruffled a few feathers, the press release comments on the pressure to make the customer have a new frame when they purchase on the high street, some Opticians refuse to reglaze most just don’t want to. Well ciliaryblue will do all of them! No problems, no questions just the acceptance that we are saving you money.  Read the press release and see what you think, you can find it at http://www.pressbox.co.uk/detailed/Health/_Reglaze_-_The_best_kept_secret_in_Optics_176231.html . Give us, at ciliaryblue, your thoughts?

Our rimless technicians are currently doing some experimental work with the application of Rhinestones to the edge of rimless lenses. So if customers would like their reglazed rimless glasses to be beautifully decorated with these stones to make a statement or to detract maybe from the thickness of the lens, it could be done. I will upload pictures soon to show exactly what we mean.
